Job Overview:

Schenker Deutschland AG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to oversee the Invoicing operations in the South Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and taking operational responsibility for customer complaints in a regional role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of employees and take operational responsibility for customer complaints in a regional role
  • Organize day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects
  • Actively monitor processes in Invoicing & Settlement, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Assess and mitigate associated risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Group Lead to improve internal and external processes, driving business growth and excellence
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure internal process and quality requirements are met in the region
  • Manage national and international billing for large customers, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Review and process outstanding items for large customers, resolving any discrepancies or issues
  • Review and book customer credit notes, adjusting terms as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with large customers and Key Account Managers, building strong relationships and resolving any issues
  • Review differences and create provisions for large customers, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Distribute shared mailbox emails in the SSC I&S, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Commercial education background preferred, preferably in logistics or a related field
  • First leadership experience is a plus, with a proven track record of success in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with numbers and data
  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  • Customer-oriented attitude, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and quality
  • Bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the table, with a passion for continuous improvement and excellence
  • Team player with a sense of responsibility and dedication, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
