Are you a seasoned PLC programmer looking for a new challenge in the engineering sector? Our team at GULP – Experts United has an exciting opportunity for a PLC specialist to join our ranks.
**About the Role**
- Commission and parameterize application technology hardware, including sensors, actuators, and control loops.
- Perform process checks for plant safety and optimize processes for quality, availability, and cycle time.
- Adapt application software and post-process PLC programs.
- Train teams from production and maintenance departments in PLC programming.
- Handle and control complex automation projects.
- Diagnose and rectify PLC faults.
**Your Profile**
- Completed vocational training in a metal, IT, or electrical profession with relevant further training or a degree in mechatronics, electrical, or automation engineering.
- Many years of professional experience in PLC programming, preferably in body-in-white production.
- Familiarity with Siemens Step7 controllers and the ability to create projects and see them through to final acceptance.
- Knowledge of joining techniques used in body-in-white production.
- Proficiency in MS Office and good written and spoken German skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
