Flight Operations Manager

Position Overview: This role is for a Network Controller at Lufthansa CityLine GmbH's Hub Operation Center. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the operational aspects of flight activities within a continuous shift framework. Key responsibilities include addressing operational challenges, enhancing processes, and ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency in flight operations.

  • Operational Management: Formulating and executing strategies to mitigate operational interruptions while coordinating necessary actions.
  • Risk Monitoring: Keeping track of critical elements impacting flight operations and proactively identifying potential risks or disruptions.
  • Flight Planning: Drafting and updating operational and ATC flight plans to ensure smooth operations.
  • Slot Management: Overseeing ATC slots to minimize delays and enhance efficiency.
  • Flight Crew Support: Offering assistance to flight crews regarding flight preparation and execution.

Candidate Profile: The ideal applicant will possess vocational training in aviation operations or a related discipline, along with some relevant work experience or a degree. Experience in a traffic control center, holding a flight operations officer license, or DGR Cat. 10 qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
