Principal Architect ADAS

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Architect to join our team at Continental, a leading supplier to the automotive industry. As a Principal Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the future architectures of our ADAS and AD products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end architectures for our products and projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
- Drive system architectures for all Continental products, from SAE Level 0 to Level 5, in the respective area.
- Create innovative architectures and collaborate with hardware and software teams to support our architecture vision.
- Break down requirements and architectures for compute platforms, radar, camera, and lidar, as well as algorithm components.
- Ensure modular, scalable, and reusable systems across different product categories.
- Lead solution and release train architects, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a comparable subject.
- Profound experience with scalable and reusable architectures, as well as experience in ADAS/AD.
- Deep understanding of large-scale software products.
- Solid understanding of UML and SysML.
- Extensive experience working in large, interdisciplinary projects.
- Hands-on attitude, result orientation, and a collaborative way of working.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10%).
