About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Petcare Specialist / Junior Manager Layouting & Assortment to join our team at REWE. As a key member of our Assortment & Space team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing customer-centric concepts and strategies for pet care products.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Category Management to define and implement pet care product assortment strategies based on internal and external key performance indicators.
- Analyze complex data and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders, including operational users and top management.
- Oversee end-to-end process optimization and content challenges for large-scale pet care product assortment projects, involving multiple stakeholders such as Category Management, Sales, Analytics, Logistics, and internal optimization of product placement.
- Implement software-driven, partially automated placement plans based on key performance indicators and product-specific guidelines.
- Manage and execute model placements in our office laboratory.
- Independently conduct ad-hoc inquiries and participate in special projects.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with Category Management, regional representatives, and other stakeholders through open and proactive communication.
- Completed degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- First-hand experience in the retail industry, preferably in category management.
- Confident communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
- High analytical skills and affinity for a concept-based and data-driven work approach.
- Experience with Spacemanagement software is an asset, but not required.
- ECR-DACH CM certification is an asset, but not required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong team player with a passion for achieving common goals.
- Interest in pet food and daily essentials.
- Excellent German and good English language skills.
