About PLAION
PLAION, a leading international media company, is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. With a global presence and over 2,000 employees, we are a renowned producer and distributor of digital entertainment products in Europe, the USA, Australia, and Japan. Our business areas include film and game production, film licensing, digital media distribution, and merchandising, as well as games publishing under the labels Deep Silver, Prime Matter, Ravenscourt, Vertigo, and Milestone.
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to design and implement our build pipelines, ensuring continuous delivery with zero downtime. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing our cloud infrastructure, participating in the conception of new backend solutions, analyzing new technologies, and administering build pipelines. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring our infrastructure, ensuring the security of our systems, and contributing to our DevSecOps strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize our cloud infrastructure (GCP): Manage our database and Kubernetes clusters, administer load balancers, and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
- Participate in the conception of new backend solutions: Define the future of our backend infrastructure and help us develop a solid foundation for new solutions.
- Analyze new technologies: Stay ahead of the curve and identify new tools that can drive our business forward.
- Administer build pipelines: Create jobs for continuous delivery of our microservices, web applications, and cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor our infrastructure: Stay on top of issues and resolve them before they impact our customers.
- Ensure the security of our systems: Contribute to our DevSecOps strategy and help harden our critical infrastructure.
About You
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with build pipelines (Jenkins) and Terraform / Ansible / Helm.
- Knowledge of version control systems (git).
- Fundamental knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages is an asset.
- Knowledge of relational and document-based databases is beneficial.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for changing work environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent German language skills in writing and speaking.
- Good English language skills in writing and speaking.
