Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Topcon. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our employees and managers, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR guidance and support to employees and managers on various HR-related matters, including employee relations, recruitment, and talent development.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to design and deliver training programs, workshops, and other development initiatives.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including labor laws, equal employment opportunity laws, and workers' compensation laws.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, universities, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR business, preferably in an international, matrixed environment.
  • Qualifications in Human Resources, psychology, law, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent English and German (written and spoken) is necessary.
  • Deep knowledge of German local law and legislation and general knowledge of other countries' labor legislation.
  • Evidence of maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • High level of computer literacy (Socials/Internet/MS Office Suite/SaaS).
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and proactive.
