Software Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Architect to lead the development of our cutting-edge drone technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the future software architecture, analyzing and creating software/system architectures, and ensuring they meet our high quality standards.

• Lead the definition of the future software architecture
• Analyze and create software/system architectures and concepts
• Establish efficient workflows and usage of tools for software development
• Manage communication between teams and enable efficient prioritization
• Take over requirements analysis/monitoring and coordinate with the customer and internal departments
• Be actively involved in the release process and support software development teams
• Handle developers in quality assurance through documentation guidelines and choice of 3rd party components
• Establish and maintain traceability between requirements and software architecture elements
• Analyze safety requirements and safety manuals and define suitable architectural solutions

• Hold a degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent discipline
• Be highly experienced as a Software Architect with several years of relevant professional experience
• Have profound knowledge of direct industry experience in software architecture, design and development in the aviation, automotive or comparable area
• Have an excellent understanding of software engineering principles and application architecture and design
• Have a good intuition for software best practices in modern C/C++ development
• Have experience in agile environments (Scrum, SAFe)
• Be experienced in UML and in using modeling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
• Have a proven track record of successful delivery of projects
• Be a self-starter with the ability to assume leadership roles
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple geographies
• Have very good knowledge of English
