Technical Sales Engineer

Job Summary:
The Technical Sales Engineer will serve as the functional link between Sales, Operations, Research and Development, Sustaining Engineering and Product Line Management at NOV Inc. This role is responsible for generating sales and increasing revenue at the Regional Level through the sale of Products and Services following designed Technical & sales objectives, policies, and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge and expertise in NOV Inc.'s products and services.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales personnel, and potential customers on the technical issues of the products.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.
- Work with customers to develop and design products and services.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and present technical courses, both internally and to external clients.
- Provide field technical support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales and revenue goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to customers and sales personnel.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Field Experience or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Application Engineering Experience or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions:
The Technical Sales Engineer will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to travel frequently to customer sites and NOV Inc. facilities. The role will also require working on a 24-hour call basis as needed.
