Job Description

Your main responsibilities as a Cloud Solution Architect include developing new concepts, architectures, and solutions in the following areas:

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing architectures for our multi-cloud platform, central services, and leading architecture and solution evaluations to make informed decisions.
  • Translating business strategy, functional, and non-functional requirements into a sustainable solution architecture.
  • Creating and maintaining reference architectures and harmonizing them with other architects within your area.
  • Documenting the architecture within your responsibility and participating in or leading needed audits.
  • Working as a coach and mentor for team members, with an intuition for analyzing and solving technical problems.
  • Collaborating with Site Reliability Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners in a DevSecOps-oriented environment.
Requirements
  • Profound knowledge of cloud design principles, microservice concepts, and their implementation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong agile mindset, high degree of willingness to be proactively engaged, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, customer-service orientation, and the ability to be assertive.
  • Ability to precisely explain complex issues.
  • High degree of knowledge in creating container-based applications and their deployment and orchestration via Kubernetes.
  • Day-to-day work experience with one or more leading Public Cloud Providers like Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Knowledge in modeling Software Architectures (for example via UML or ARC42).
