Scope

The Financial Controller will be based in Rhenoflex Germany and support local business units and other SC entities in the group.

Job Description

As a key member of the Coats team, the Financial Controller will provide accurate analysis, product costing, and month-end reports. They will work closely with the Commercial team and support strategic financial decisions to drive company growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate with Commercial and Sales Operations teams to prepare weekly/monthly reports and analyses.
  • Assist in month-end closing, including providing timely reports and analysis.
  • Analysis of Cost Center reports and preparation of Group/business reports to support Commercial and Operations teams.
  • Coordinate and assist the annual audit process, including support on inventory count and stock valuation as per local GAAP, liaise with external auditors, and assess their findings and implement necessary changes.
  • Prepare all monthly/annual supporting information/reports for State Statistical Office.
  • Prepare other ad-hoc analysis assigned by management.

Education and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. A professional certification is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Minimum years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial statistics, local GAAPs, and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Proficient user of finance software SAP and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional written and spoken fluency in German and English.
