Electrifying Vehicle Charging Expert

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Electrifying Vehicle Charging Expert at Da Vinci Engineering GmbH.

As an Electrifying Vehicle Charging Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electric vehicle charging systems. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing charging validation strategies with our function owner and global charging team.
• Defining charging interoperability routes in Europe and overseas in alignment with our global charging team.
• Preparing test vehicles for test executions, including SW/HW definition and datalogging toolchain readiness.
• Conducting different types of charging tests, including interoperability, performance, and conformance tests, to evaluate the maturity of charging hardware and software.
• Working closely with our global charging team and function owner to identify market concerns and define efficient solutions.
• Benchmarking the charging capability of other OEMs.
• Reporting expedition or validation status and escalating blocking points to line manager and project manager.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in BEV charging validation.
• Experience with tools such as CANoe Pro and DSA.
• A good understanding of vehicle CAN communication and different charging standards, including SAE J1772, ISO 15118, and IEC 62196.
• Experience in conducting vehicle testing and expedition drives.
• Fluency in English; German and Chinese would be a plus.
• A high level of engagement to identify issues and drive resolution.
• Flexibility regarding travels in EU and overseas.
• An EU driving license is a must.
