Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive team member for our Frankfurt Critical Facilities. Your responsibilities will include performing semi-routine maintenance and repairs, coordinating with vendors, supporting site administration, completing work orders, and collaborating on infrastructure projects. You will also assist senior personnel, ensure vendor compliance, and manage inventory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Operations: Oversee and manage the electrical and mechanical infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct Inspections: Perform site inspections, monitor building and IBX alarms, and manage preventative maintenance tasks.
- Hands-On Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment, collect data for permits, and complete site logs.
- Collaborate Effectively: Assist senior staff with on-site incidents and gradually take on basic incidents independently.
- Contribute to Projects: Participate in infrastructure projects and manage smaller works projects such as lighting upgrades.
- Flexible Shifts: Work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, to ensure operational coverage.
- Client Support: Address client tickets through the Equinix Ticket system, adhering to SLA standards.
- Prioritize Safety: Promptly report any health and safety concerns to your line manager.
Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in German and English.
- Educational Qualifications: Completed vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician, energy electronics technician, refrigeration and air conditioning technician, or equivalent.
- Relevant Experience: Extensive knowledge of critical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems.
- Customer Service Skills: A self-motivated and adaptable individual who communicates effectively with clients.
