About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lifting Equipment Inspector to join our team at TÜV SÜD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and examinations of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with statutory regulations.
  • Liaise with the planning team to ensure efficient routes for delivery of inspections.
  • Carry out LOLER/PUWER inspections on various types of lifting equipment.
  • Complete necessary paperwork in line with company procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients.
  • Complete site inspection reports in line with applicable regulations.
  • Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment regulations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in the lift industry.
  • Experienced engineer with mechanical/electrical skills.
  • Recognised mechanical/electrical qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to change and self-development.
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Engineering experience with lifting equipment.
