Electrical Design Engineer for Dry-Type Transformers

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Germany. As a Trainee, you will embark on a unique journey within our R&D functions, gaining hands-on experience in electrical design, simulation, and optimization of dry-type transformers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in the electrical design of dry-type transformers, focusing on cost-optimal solutions
  • Engage in interactive simulation activities, including electromagnetic, electrostatic, and surge voltage analysis
  • Contribute to cost-out projects aimed at reducing costs or increasing performance
  • Analyze measurement data to optimize calculated losses, short-circuit voltages, sound pressure levels, and excess temperatures
  • Collaborate with your mentor to calculate costs and assess risks

Your Background

  • You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering
  • You are eager to learn about dry-type transformers, electrical calculation processes, and tools
  • You have knowledge of the Finite Element Method and software
  • You possess a strong technical, analytical affinity, as well as a business mindset
  • You are independent, structured, and solution-oriented, with a creative approach to work
  • You are fluent in English and have a minimum B1 level of German
  • You hold a valid permanent work permit to work in Europe
  • You are willing to relocate for international assignments
