Job Title: Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team at Movement8. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our intelligent SaaS solution for the renewables industry.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a cloud platform with a mix of front-end and full-stack developers, and collaborate closely with the QA and product teams. You will be working on driving innovation for one of our two products, using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Angular.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and AWS.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize features and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure seamless integration and testing of new features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Java Full Stack Developer.
  • Experience with Angular and ideally one other framework.
  • Strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
