We empower our clients to seamlessly integrate blockchain functionalities into their systems via our modern blockchain API, saving them high development costs and time while ensuring fast market access and user-friendliness. Regulatory requirements can be met for appropriate assets via Tangany's crypto custody license if needed.

About the Role
  • As a Data Engineer, you will take end-to-end responsibility for our data warehouse and pipelines, collaborating closely with the Data team to design, implement, and maintain efficient data processing workflows.
  • You will be responsible for managing and scaling the data warehouse, optimizing its structure and performance to support business analytics needs.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is key: work closely with compliance, sales, and other teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that address business needs.
  • Data quality assurance: perform regular checks, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure the reliability of our data infrastructure.
  • Visualize insights: create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Ensure data security: comply with data privacy regulations and best practices, safeguarding sensitive information within our data infrastructure.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience working with platforms like Snowflake. DBT expertise is a plus.
  • Understanding of modern data architecture and interest in improving existing data workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Strong skills in data transformation using SQL and Python, as well as familiarity with libraries like pandas or NumPy.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, ideally in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Azure Storage).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub for collaborative development and clean codebases.
  • Ideal candidate has experience handling large datasets, data cleaning, and data transformation tasks.
  • A strong interest in blockchain technology and finance is essential; knowledge of blockchain data structures or APIs is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English (at least B2); German is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package includes:

  • An attractive annual salary of €70,000 - €90,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
