About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Edge Platform Architect to join our team at Weisstechnik. As a key member of our Edge Computing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating our modular Edge Platform and related processes for IIoT applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop architectures around our innovative Edge Platform, providing offline and online applications for the manufacturing industry (Linux Yocto, Azure IoT Edge)
• Develop and implement security concepts and modules for Gateways, such as TPM, Secure Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Edge solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in Gateway development for IoT applications, including Azure IoT Edge and Linux Yocto
• Experience with fieldbus protocols, such as OPC-UA
• Strong understanding of security concepts and implementation
• Proficiency in C/C++,.NET, C#, ASP.NET, EF-Core, Linux Yocto, Azure IoT components
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
