Discover International is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security features into medical devices from the initial design phase through to deployment.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and communication protocols. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits on medical devices to ensure they meet cybersecurity standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 27001, FDA guidance). Stay updated on the latest industry regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans. Lead investigations into security incidents, analyze the root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide cybersecurity training and guidance to internal teams, ensuring that all employees are aware of security protocols and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including security architecture designs, risk assessments, and compliance reports.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity within the medical device or healthcare industry.
