About the Job:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team at Elbhelden GmbH. As a Caregiver and Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in our specialized living facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an integral part of a multidisciplinary team providing care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with disabilities in their daily routines, including meal preparation and household chores
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care and support
  • Document and maintain accurate records of individual care plans and progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Relevant education and training in a field such as gerontology, special education, or a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a care or support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
