About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Redcare Pharmacy. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a robust and scalable infrastructure that can handle high levels of traffic and real-time transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to design, build, and maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure.
  • Manage and optimize Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate containers and maintain containerized applications effectively.
  • Work with OpenStack and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies to manage and improve our cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement automation tools and scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to streamline operations.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring systems to ensure the health and security of the infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a senior role, ideally in a high-traffic, operational environment.
  • Strong expertise in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
