We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at BABLE Smart Cities Iberia. As our new IT Helpdesk Support, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional IT support services to our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide efficient and effective technical support to internal stakeholders, resolving issues reported through our ticketing system.
- Ticket Management: Coordinate and prioritize tickets and tasks to meet service-level agreements, ensuring timely follow-ups to end-users regarding the status of their issues.
- Process Documentation: Help document processes and ensure they are updated, maintaining accurate records of access permissions.
- User Access Management: Manage user access to internal and external systems, supporting onboarding and offboarding tasks, including provisioning and de-provisioning accounts and access rights.
- IT Operations: Assist in maintaining smooth IT operations, being adaptable to handle ad hoc IT tasks as they arise, contributing to the overall efficiency of IT operations.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with various operating systems and software.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in supporting office productivity applications (Office 365, Slack).
- ITIL Knowledge: Knowledge of ITIL principles and best practices is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to identify and proactively resolve or escalate issues.
- Education: Successfully completed technical apprenticeship or studies in related fields (e.g. IT specialist in application development, bachelor in computer science or any engineering discipline, or comparable education/experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in similar roles.
- Language Skills: Full proficiency in English and German is mandatory.
