Product Assurance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Assurance Manager to join our team at OroraTech GmbH. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our satellite projects, aligning with ESA requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain the PA/QA strategies and plans for the Cubesat projects in compliance with ESA or other agency standards.
- Vendor Quality Management: Oversee the quality of all procured subsystems, conducting supplier audits and establishing processes to ensure all components meet our specifications.
- Product Testing and Validation: Set up and oversee the processes for in-house integration testing of subsystems, cameras, satellite platforms, and software to ensure top performance and reliability.
- Documentation and Compliance: Manage all necessary PA/QA documentation required by ESA and ensure all project phases comply with established processes and protocols.
- Team Management and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless quality assurance practices throughout the organization.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) would be a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PA/QA management role, preferably in the aerospace, satellite or automotive technology sector.
- Skills: Familiarity with ESA's PA/QA standards and requirements is a plus (ECSS). Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex projects and make data-driven decisions. Excellent organizational skills, with an aptitude for managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromise on quality. Proactive leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring a culture of quality across the organization.
