Our Mission
We're seeking an experienced Safety and Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team in Donauwörth. As a key member of our UAM Engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing safe and reliable eVTOL systems.
Your Role
You'll work closely with our project team, architects, and designers to ensure the safety and reliability of our UAM vehicle systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating design characteristics to meet safety performance standards
- Supporting the installation of safety-critical systems within the aircraft
- Driving design and architectures to secure program success
- Developing recommendations for flight manual modifications to enhance operational safety
- Challenging suppliers to ensure safety and reliability requirements are met
- Supporting certification efforts with EASA
Key Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven expertise in safety and reliability engineering, with a focus on aviation systems
- Experience with certification processes and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- A university degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
