We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) to join our team at our Vaihingen an der Enz location. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial data, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in audit or finance, preferably with a Big 4 firm
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization, from plant operators to senior executives
- Drive and assertiveness to achieve work deadlines and performance goals
- Knowledge of ITA GAAP and VAT or Taxation
FORMAL EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of GL accounting experience
- Balance accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) certification
- Masters degree in business and accounting education according to German accounting standards
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong Excel skills and experience with payroll accounting
- Experience with Germany VAT
- German native language and strong command of English, written and spoken
- Previous experience working in an audit environment or a multinational organization with 2+ years of finance/accounting experience
- Advantage to have 2+ years of experience with SAP accounting
