Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Packaging Excellence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our packaging development team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our multi-year roadmap for packaging materials. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation and sustainability in our packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global packaging material portfolio strategy to drive standardization and cost savings.
- Lead the development of guidance for packaging qualification processes globally.
- Ensure packaging solutions are compliant with global packaging regulations and provide expertise on packaging regulations and changes.
- Guide the introduction of global standardized labeling of materials.
- Drive an annual continuous improvement project portfolio to generate spend savings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including supply planners, warehouse and transportation managers, manufacturing, R&D, and procurement.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of packaging materials and applications in the industry, including the evolving regulatory environment worldwide.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
- Experience working in a global matrix environment with knowledge of logistics and supply chain.
- Contributed to reducing overall process costs in areas of filling, handling, and storage of packaging materials.
