Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire insights into environmental markets, focusing on the European Emission Trading System (EU ETS) and the UK's emission trading framework (UK ETS).
  • Assist our team in crafting fundamental market models.
  • Enhance our codebase to boost user experience and integrate new features.
  • Prepare and analyze data for immediate assessments concerning emission markets across Europe.
  • Collect information on market trends and forecast the anticipated actions of market participants, particularly regarding decarbonization strategies.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Engineering (preferably in energy, renewables, or sustainability systems) or (Energy) Economics.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Python (or a comparable programming language).
  • A proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Previous experience in energy and market modeling is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written); proficiency in German is a plus.
