We're a Hamburg-based studio that's part of the Stillfront Group, a global gaming company with a passion for innovation. Our mission is to create engaging games that attract millions of players worldwide.

As a Technical Artist at New Moon Production, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our creative ideas to life. You'll work closely with our art, design, and programming teams to ensure that visual elements are seamlessly integrated into our projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with artists and developers to create and implement art assets within the Unity Engine.
  • Developing and maintaining shaders, materials, and visual effects to enhance the visual quality of our projects.
  • Optimizing assets for performance without compromising visual fidelity.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to art assets and engine integration.
  • Providing guidance and support to the art team on technical best practices.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in game development and art production.

We're looking for a skilled Technical Artist with experience in the Unity Engine, Universal Render Pipeline, and mobile game development or real-time applications. You should have a strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, and shading techniques, as well as proficiency in software such as Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, or equivalent.

Additional skills that will impress us include:

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL) for automation and tool development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant work and technical artistry skills.
