As a Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and research in the field of Intercultural Communication and Business English.

**Responsibilities:**
- Teach several modules in Business English, Academic English, Intercultural Communication, Soft Skill Training, and related fields
- Coordinate the lecturers in the English, Soft Skills, and Technical English modules
- Develop a language center
- Contribute to the development of curricula and research in Business English communication
- Support students in their preparation for studying abroad/international work experience
- Further develop existing international contacts and establish new ones
- Willingness to acquire third-party funding for own research activities
- Cooperation in interdisciplinary research areas
- Active participation in the academic self-administration
- Conduct on-campus and online courses on Saturdays if applicable, with Saturday work being compensated for on another day of the week; creation of teaching materials for self-study

**Requirements:**
- Above-average university degree in economics/international business or comparable in combination with relevant practical experience in intercultural communication/business communication/linguistics
- Outstanding doctoral degree in one of the fields described above or a comparable scientific qualification
- Relevant experience in teaching Business English in higher education or comparable, ideally with experience in developing curricula and teaching material for Business English
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience, at least 3 of them outside academia
- Excellent didactic skills (especially regarding eLearning and modern teaching concepts)
- Demonstrated English language proficiency at a native level
- German language skills at a native level
- Teaching competence and pedagogical aptitude
