Global Quality Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Quality Leader to join our team at AEG Power Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and assessing various aspects of our projects, services, and facilities to ensure that they meet our quality standards.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and Mentor a Global Team: You will lead and mentor a global team of quality professionals across multiple locations, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Foster a Collaborative Culture: You will foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the quality team, promoting open communication and alignment among team members in different regions.
- Develop and Implement Quality Strategy: You will develop and implement a global quality strategy that aligns with our company's objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring that our quality management systems are effectively implemented and maintained across all locations.
- Establish and Monitor KPIs: You will establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement, ensuring that our quality management systems are effective and efficient.
- Ensure Compliance: You will ensure compliance with international standards and regulations relevant to our industry, managing global audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and Implement Risk Management Processes: You will develop and implement risk management processes to proactively address potential quality issues, ensuring that our quality management systems are robust and effective.
- Oversee Internal Quality Audit Programs: You will oversee and sustain internal quality audit programs, evaluating enhancements resulting from audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Establish a Third-Party Auditing Program: You will establish a third-party auditing program, leading compliance audits for suppliers, sub-manufacturers, or distributors to uphold incoming material quality.
- Act as Primary Point of Contact: You will act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage Documentation: You will manage documentation aligning with Quality System guidelines and oversee the handling of customer complaints.
- Communicate Quality Performance: You will communicate quality performance, challenges, and initiatives to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide Timely Reports: You will provide timely reports to executive management on quality system performance, non-compliance issues, and recommended actions.
- Oversee Training and Development: You will oversee the training and development of the global quality team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, specifically electrical or mechanical fields.
- Minimum of 5 years in quality management within a relevant industry, particularly in power conversion products.
- Proven experience managing quality processes on a global scale.
- Strong understanding of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Knowledge of Nuclear quality standards (like KTA, RCC-E, NQA-1, CSA, etc.) will be highly appreciated.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in quality management methodologies and tools like TQM, QMS, EMS, and FMEA processes is required.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes.
- Preferred capabilities include experience as an external auditor in manufacturing processes and possession of professional certifications, especially a QMS internal auditor certificate.
- Fluency in German, both written and verbal, is essential.
