First Momentum Ventures is a pioneering venture capital fund that empowers innovation by investing in groundbreaking B2B and deep tech startups.

We are a team of visionaries committed to identifying and nurturing the most promising startups in the European ecosystem.

We believe in the power of collaboration and community building, which is why we have established a network of over 150 Venture Scouts across the DACH region.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Venture Scout to join our team and help us identify exciting startups and founders in your local ecosystem.

As a Venture Scout, you will act as our eyes and ears in the startup scene, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and sharing your domain knowledge with us.

You will also wear your First Momentum hat at events, hackathons, and conferences, making technical founders aware of our fund and its investment opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage with promising startups and founders in your local ecosystem
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and share your domain knowledge with our team
  • Raise awareness of First Momentum and its investment opportunities among technical founders
  • Participate in workshops and virtual sessions to learn about our investment process and deep tech verticals
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of your local startup ecosystem and key players
  • Interest in venture capital and startup world
  • Closely connected to one of the universities in your city as a student or research assistant
  • Passion for deep tech or B2B innovation
