Reliability Engineer

In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for product development, process, and material changes. Your key responsibility is to define the reliability tests required for product release or modification based on interdisciplinary risk assessment and the preparation, review, and release of test plans. You will also be responsible for commissioning or carrying out, evaluating, assessing, and releasing tests, including preparing, checking, and signing reports. A good understanding of relevant norms and standards is essential for this role.

• Participation in standardization committees (e.g., AQG, ZVEI)
• Direct supplier communication on reliability-related topics
• Creation and maintenance of relevant specifications and software or evaluation tools
• Creation of life cycle models (test planning, execution, statistical evaluation)
• Preparation and implementation of training courses on the subject of reliability
• Preparation and implementation of risk approvals (depending on criticality)
• Participation in fault analyses (both internal and complaints) and FMEA

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with a master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or packaging technology, or other relevant fields of education. Several years of experience in the field of power electronics, packaging technology, and/or reliability are also required. Additionally, we are looking for a detail- and quality-oriented working style, a team player with good communication skills and a creative mindset, very good German and good English language skills, and good MS Office skills.
