Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Neuss. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting function.
- Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and efficiency within the team.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Procedure and Process Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement within the accounting function and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- TAX Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in a retail or similar industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including SAP and Blackline.
- Recognised accountancy qualification, such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
