About the Role

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our global UX Design Team at SAP. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centric and AI-powered solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product owners, developers, and other designers to create user-centric and AI-powered solutions.
  • Guide the product direction from a design perspective and contribute to SAP design system.
  • Be involved in all phases of the design-led-development process, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing.
  • Have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other UX experts across SAP.
  • Engage with end users and customers to understand their needs and collaborate on concepts for new functionality.
  • Demonstrate and validate main user flows in interactive prototypes and run fast learning cycles to improve these concepts.
  • Clearly communicate design decisions and research findings to different audiences such as engineers, managers or customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, User Experience Design or other related fields.
  • Experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Good understanding of user research methods, information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Experience conducting usability testing and applying feedback to design iterations.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices in creating inclusive designs.
  • You possess good knowledge of Lean UX, Design Thinking, and agile development methods such as SCRUM.
  • Skills in UX Engineering, UX Research, and UX Writing are an advantage.
  • Know-how SAP UX Design Guidelines would be an advantage.
