About the Role
Utimaco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Configuration Management team. As the Head of Configuration Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our build and deployment processes, related tools, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of configuration management engineers to ensure the successful implementation of our build and deployment processes.
- Enhance our source code management system and design processes for contributing code changes to our products.
- Define, deploy, and continuously improve our CI/CD tool chain and internal build standards or methodologies.
- Setup an artifact management system to ensure releases are assembled correctly.
- Ensure all established processes and tools adhere to security best practices and are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain different environments for building software and running tests against various hardware and software setups.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in an agile environment, experience with build automation tools and CI/CD pipelines, and knowledge of modern source code management systems based on git.
Requirements
- Proven working experience in an agile environment.
- Brought knowledge about build automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record in using modern source code management systems based on git.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
- Intercultural skills and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with information security technologies and architectures.
- German language experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
