Bechtle IT-Systemhaus Bonn/Köln is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping public sector and industry clients strengthen their cybersecurity posture.

As a Cyber Security Consultant, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Implementation and Configuration: You will be responsible for installing and configuring SIEM solutions at client sites, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide expert consulting services to clients on a wide range of cybersecurity systems, helping them make informed decisions to protect their assets.
  • Threat Detection Expertise: Develop sophisticated rules and strategies to detect potential cyberattacks, safeguarding clients from emerging threats.
  • Client Support: Offer ongoing support to clients in operating their cybersecurity systems, ensuring smooth functionality and addressing any technical challenges.
  • Presales Collaboration: Contribute to presales activities by providing technical expertise and insights to potential clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent certifications.
  • Proven experience with leading SIEM solutions such as Splunk, ELK, MS Sentinel, QRadar, and Exabeam.
  • Fluency in German is essential for effective communication with clients.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • A strong willingness to learn and adapt to evolving cybersecurity technologies.
