Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate - Fresh Produce. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and other grocery items.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing recommendations on products and services.
- Work collaboratively with other sales team members to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, marketing, hospitality) preferred.
- Previous sales or customer service experience in a retail or food industry setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently around the store.
