About the Role
The Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP) is seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Technical Solutions Consultant to join its Innovation Division in Munich, Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the development of AI and ML-based software solutions from ideation to pilot implementation, leveraging the WFP AI Sandbox.
- Develop architecture standards, templates, and principles for WFP Innovation Accelerator AI projects, aligning with corporate standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and derive, develop, and document solutions.
- Provide guidance on agile project management methods and effort estimations for software development.
- Liaise with the TEC Division to provide WFP Innovation Accelerator stakeholders with software-development infrastructure and access to WFP.
Technical Expertise
- Experience in developing and implementing AI and ML solutions, with a focus on foundational techniques such as NLP, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or Robotics.
- Knowledge of data analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering techniques to support AI and ML model development.
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI services and platforms, such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, and exposure to deploying AI models in a scalable manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, (Applied) Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical role, with 3 years in AI or ML product management.
- Fluency in oral and written English is mandatory.
