Job Title: Kitchen Assistant for Canteen

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at the Munich Marriott City West. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the kitchen team with tasks such as cooking, preparation, and mise en place
  • Carry out preparation and cleaning work in the staff canteen
  • Set up the lunch and dinner buffet daily and ensure that there is always enough food available
  • Replenish supplies in the canteen and clean the coffee machine and fridges
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of employee meals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your culinary skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong awareness of quality and high standards in food preparation and presentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Valid work permit for Germany/EU
