Fresenius Kabi is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our dynamic global team. As a key member of our Operational Unit Pharma, you will play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain activities within our global production network.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize supply chain activities to ensure seamless production and delivery of our products
  • Identify supply gaps and develop proactive solutions to manage constraints, collaborating closely with production sites and sales regions
  • Support the development of supply strategies for our product portfolio, driving business growth and profitability
  • Coordinate and consolidate capacity increase projects, ensuring timely execution and minimal disruption to operations
  • Participate in the monthly Sales-Review Process and represent OpU Supply Chain in the monthly S&OP cycle, providing critical insights and recommendations
  • Allocate products across alternative production plants, ensuring optimal resource utilization and minimizing costs
  • Lead and support projects, including API switches, container switches, and product transfers, ensuring successful execution and minimal disruption
  • Assist in implementing advanced planning tools, enhancing supply chain visibility and efficiency
  • Act as an escalation point for supply interruptions or communication issues, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Provide strong support to production plants during crisis situations, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption

Your Profile

  • University degree in Economics, Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics, with a strong foundation in supply chain management principles
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
  • Ability to develop and execute supply chain concepts, driving business outcomes in an international and decentralized environment
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical markets and supply chain management in the pharmaceutical sector, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex situations clearly to all management levels
  • Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken, with additional language skills a plus
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SAP IBP, APO, PP, MM, or other advanced planning systems, a plus
  • Experience working in intercultural environments and willingness to travel internationally, up to 6 times per year
