Our Challenges- We are looking for a skilled IT Specialist to ensure the operation of in-house developed applications on Linux and Windows servers, primarily based on Java. This includes rating applications and risk methods, as well as standard products like AmbitFocus and ABACUS/DaVinci/A360.
- You will take on process activities in the Service Lifecycle process, focusing on Service Transition and Service Operation. This may involve independent or coordinating tasks.
- To ensure a secure operation, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing deployment activities. Additionally, you will support the knowledge acquisition process for taking over new applications, create and maintain operation manuals, and review Quality Gates criteria.
- Our software products are critical to our success. Therefore, you will regularly monitor and optimize application monitoring (including documentation) and event management, ensuring compliance with valid SLAs.
- You will analyze error causes, evaluate and prioritize events, develop workarounds or necessary escalations, and initiate improvement processes.
- In our complex IT environment, you will coordinate service security, improvement, and quality processes, as well as involve internal departments and external service providers.
- We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or Physics. Alternatively, you can bring comparable qualifications.
- Relevant work experience is essential.
- Advanced knowledge of application operation is required. ITIL experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- You should be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with software vendors.
