Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the University of Konstanz. As a PhD student in Biomedical Data Sciences and Bioinformatics, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project investigating the role of TP53 mutants in cancer progression.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply data science tools and approaches to analyze multi-omics data
  • Implement machine learning-based gene activity models and integrate them with experimental data
  • Contribute to the development of web-based user interfaces for result reporting and presentation
  • Collaborate with our research group to design and implement data analysis strategies and workflows
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field or a medical/biological field with experience in Bioinformatics/data analysis
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as R, Python, or Bash
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Intrinsic motivation and interest in understanding and studying the nature of life
