Software Architect Position

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with Product Management to align business requirements
  • Participation in customer meetings to support Product Management
  • Preparation and execution of customer presentations, as well as technical coordination with customers
  • Design of modern cloud-native application architectures in the enterprise environment
  • Support for requirements engineering
  • Derivation of solution architectures in collaboration with software development and stakeholders
  • Central point of contact for internal and external development teams for technical questions and architecture-compliant solutions
  • Identification of future architecture topics and training needs for development teams
  • Accompaniment of development teams in the implementation of architecture concepts
  • Driving force in the architecture process in collaboration with system architects in agile teams
  • Professional guidance of agile development teams
Requirements
  • Academic education in engineering, computer science, or a related field with several years of professional experience
  • Several years of experience in designing cloud-native application architectures and software and IT architectures
  • Implementation of non-functional requirements such as high availability and performance on all system layers
  • Long-term experience in software development and knowledge of central architecture patterns
  • Basic understanding of architecture according to ISAQB specifications
  • Practical experience in the sustainable implementation of architecture standards, particularly in agile projects and DevOps environments
  • Experience working in agile teams
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers, external contractors, and development teams
