Senior Renewable Energy Specialist

Join Our Team as a Senior Renewable Originator

At ENGIE, we're committed to a sustainable and climate-neutral future. As a Senior Renewable Originator, you'll play a key role in developing profitable renewable energy portfolios for our downstream customers in Germany.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities in the renewable energy sector
  • Develop and negotiate long- and short-term power purchase agreements (PPAs)
  • Improve market introduction times for new and existing products through process improvements and increased efficiency in contract management
  • Monitor commercial and financial developments of structured deals with renewable energy
  • Develop, introduce, and manage KPIs to measure and evaluate PPA success, including regular reporting to stakeholders
  • Proactively identify risks within PPAs and implement measures to minimize them
Your Profile:
  • Master's degree in economics, finance, engineering, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in the renewable energy sector and/or energy markets, preferably with experience in renewable PPAs
  • Sound knowledge of the CWE power system and markets, as well as specialized knowledge in the RES sector
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity for IT tools, knowledge of Python is an asset
  • Ability to build effective internal and external networks, as well as excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
  • Fluent in German and English, knowledge of French is an asset
