Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equity Index Engineer to join our team in Market Data Research. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing free float for various securities, tracking corporate events, and maintaining existing data feeds. If you have a strong interest in capital markets, are knowledgeable about stocks, futures, options, and indices, and enjoy coding and problem-solving, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review free float for various securities, including collecting information on shareholding structure, analyzing shareholder types, and calculating free float factors.
  • Track corporate events and review their impact on free float.
  • Maintain existing data feeds and work with internal and external parties to enhance them.
  • Perform quality assessment of data as per product and index review schedules.
Requirements
  • Enrolled student in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in capital markets and knowledge of stocks, futures, options, and indices.
  • Competent in handling MS-Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
