About the Role

As a Content Designer at THQ Nordic, you will be responsible for crafting engaging game experiences that bring our worlds to life. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for game development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and script quests and gameplay with a focus on storytelling and pacing, ensuring a seamless player experience.
  • Collaborate with Game Designers, Level Designers, and Writers to create a cohesive and immersive game world.
  • Develop and implement boss encounters that challenge and engage players.
  • Become an expert in our proprietary toolset, utilizing your skills to optimize game performance and quality.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Content Designer/Scripter in a professional environment, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Experience with current generation content creation tools, such as Unity or Unreal Engine 4.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including LUA or Anglescript.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A strong understanding of game programming concepts and a passion for real-time strategy and/or roleplaying games.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
