Mechatronics Specialist for Field Service in Central Germany

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at ZwickRoell. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our static and dynamic testing machines.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on our testing machines, including those with electromechanical or servo-hydraulic drives.
  • Analyze and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring our customers' machines are running efficiently.
  • Calibrate our testing systems in accordance with DAkkS guidelines and create calibration certificates and test protocols.
  • Provide expert advice to our customers on our range of services.
  • Have the opportunity to work abroad, including in the USA, for extended periods.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A technical education in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, and potentially additional training or several years of experience in a similar field.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, to enable effective communication with international colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a willingness to work independently and visit customers on site.
