About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer to join our team at Speira GmbH.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the local implementation and compliance with our company's security guidelines, which includes:

  • Overseeing and assisting in monitoring information assurance and performing independent analysis of IT system concepts, making recommendations for design and optimization, and facilitating the assessment and approval process.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining information security policies and procedures for the local site and making recommendations.
  • Conducting basic information security training for new employees onboarding at the plant.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders in defining and analyzing system security requirements and providing solutions that best meet business needs.
  • Identifying and communicating technical risks and mitigation strategies as well as developing and maintaining security documentation.
  • Assisting in finalizing documentation and implementing information security requirements and controls for IT systems in accordance with the Risk Management Framework.
  • Avoiding potential disaster situations at the local site and assisting in assessing local information security incidents, determining required actions, and coordinating actions.
  • Completing annual reviews and audits in accordance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements to ensure compliance with the local ISMS.
  • Communicating risks and recommendations to mitigate them and providing transparent KPIs.
  • Supporting the regular identification and classification of information and physical assets within a centralized register for information assets.
Requirements
  • You have a degree, ideally in information security, computer science, or a related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of information security.
  • You are characterized by a careful, responsible, structured, and team-oriented way of working.
  • Very good English skills and very good knowledge of the local language (German or Norwegian) round off your profile.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
