About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Developer to join our team at STACKIT, a young corporate startup for digital services. As a Cloud Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the digital future of Europe's leading retail group and building our cutting-edge cloud and colocation business from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be part of our Argus & PostgreSQL product teams where you will develop the deployment logic for our services.
  • You will develop APIs through which our customers control the service lifecycle.
  • You will integrate your service into the rest of the STACKIT system landscape.
  • As a developer, you will be part of our SCRUM team, which consists of you, product owners, application experts, cloud engineers, and other developers.
  • You will take responsibility for the services provided, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • You will conduct problem and fault analyses and identify sustainable solutions.
  • You will automate and optimize all technical process sequences on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
  • You will have a passion for new technologies, such as software development, Kubernetes, and cloud backends.
  • Your extensive knowledge of programming using Go will be impressive; any other programming language may be an advantage.
  • Ideally, you are already familiar with PaaS solutions, such as CloudFoundry or Heroku, and know the principles of the 12 Factor App.
  • You will have knowledge regarding Continuous Deployment or Test Driven Development processes.
  • You will be happy to be part of an international team and speak good English.
