Electrical Compliance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Compliance Specialist to join our team at JUCR GmbH. As a key member of our Hardware team, you will be responsible for ensuring our charging stations comply with German and European regulations.

About Your Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest German and European regulations and standards related to charging stations for electric cars.
  • Manage the entire approval process, from initial assessment to final certification, including coordinating with regulatory bodies and preparing documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain all documentation required for approvals, including technical specifications, test reports, and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with internal and external testing laboratories to conduct tests and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and compliance issues early in the product development process and work with cross-functional teams to address them effectively.
  • Oversee the certification process, ensuring that all necessary certifications are obtained in a timely manner.
About You
  • 3+ years of experience as an Approval Engineer or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of German and European regulations and standards related to charging stations for electric cars.
  • Proven experience managing the approval and certification process for electrical products.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
